nice place if you are a real Long Island type. Total douchebag factory but very nice looking. There's a fake beach right there with sand and all and two bar areas. Valet parking whether you like it or not, like they are kinda asshats about it, i even offered to just give them money so i could park my own car. Nope. Also, make sure you bring your good wallet cause it ain't cheap to drink there.
We had lobster meals and the martini's were flowing. We were sitting for an hour and a half when the manager came over to us and told us we had to get up because the seats were reserved!! What?? We were not told they were reserved or there was a time limit! He asked us if we were going to order entree's. We had already ordered and we were spending money on drink! He spent close to $200. He still insisted that we had to get up and go down to the patio area. The way he handled this was despicable. He could have graciously explained and if we didn't mind to move, and next drink is on me! But for real..why did we have to???
So walking up to it I assumed oh a small little beach bar hut....right !? No it's crazy how big it really is and beautiful too. They are always busy and well why wouldn't they be everyday specials live bands . I appreciate the service on when things are running slow and they are so accommodating to the wait being that there kitchen is maybe to small for the crowd they have, but I always feel welcomed and treated great by management and all staff. Thank you guys I will be back!!
Went here for my friends birthday tonight. We show up and it took ten minutes to get us seated on a Tuesday night even though all the tables were empty. Went to the bar and got drinks which were 99% alcohol and 1% mixer (the only good thing about this place.) There was a group of women on their way out saying they waited two hours for their appetizer (this is when we should have left). We were seated and ordered two pitchers of water for our table. We waited 40 minutes - nothing. My friends aunt went inside to ask what was going on and we were told that they couldn't accommodate a table of 10 people (after we were already sat and given menus.) We got up and left, and received $25 back for the $75 we spent on drinks at the bar. Severely understaffed, no apologies - all we got was an attitude. The manager looked like he didn't even care. Went to Dublin deck next door and it was so much better. Will never go back here. Don't waste your time or money!!!
If he treated paying customers like that,I feel sorry for the people that work there.
My husband and I were there last night (week-night) for Happy Hour at 5pm. It was great! The band played great music, we were up on the deck and we danced, we were having a great time!
This place is right on the water, for boaters there is a back entrance off the docks. There is an abundance of outdoor seating. Our waiter did his best to be attentive but I think that he had too many tables. The food took an unusually long time to arrive so I assume the kitchen could probably have used more staff also. The menu is limited. The portions were large. The drinks were just OK. The band that was there on a Thursday evening was fair. We didn't stay for the karioki. All in all an OK place.
