I love this place!!. Small, family owned business, makes you feel good to support our local business'. My little one loves and looks forward to his Julies Gym days! everyone is so nice and professional. They are amazing with kids and would highly recommend this place to anyone with little ones looking to burn energy. The drop and play is great, I can drop of the little guy and go grocery shopping without any hassles.
Beware! I booked my daughter's birthday party here. An hour and a half before the party, someone called to tell me, "The mother with the party before yours screwed up and wrote the wrong times on her daughter's invitations, so she's going to have her party at the same time as yours. We're going to combine them and rotate in shifts, so when her kids are in one half of the gym, yours will be in the other." I said this was not okay with me.
My son had a blast here for his friends birthday party. The staff was nice and accommodating. They even learned and remembered everybody's name.
"No, we're not going to do that. We're not going to call the other mother."
After the party, both of us moms approached the staff together. They still didn't acknowledge to either of us that they had messed up, instead just saying, "Well, something happened, and it's never happened here before. Your kids still got everything they would have gotten at a normal party."
Amazing experience! Today I tried gymnastics for my first time and I definitely want to continue! Staff was so nice and encouraging. Helped me what everything and got me comfortable with everything. The girls in my group helped me and where really nice to me. Definitely recommend Julie's gym and look forward to going back next week!
They would not budge and just kept telling me they wouldn't make the other woman change.
"I paid for the whole gym. If the other mother screwed up, then please call her and tell her she needs to reschedule. She doesn't have the right to use the gym at the time I booked. My daughter is very active and I know her well enough to say there's no way I can keep her in one half of the gym if she sees kids playing in the other half."
Once I got there, I spoke to the other mother and found out that the woman at Julie's LIED TO ME. The other woman had called right away to tell them that her daughter had dance class on that day and that she needed to move the party later. They told her no problem, that the 2-4 time slot was open. And they never wrote it in the schedule that she changed to that. So both of us found out an hour and a half before our parties that we were going to have combined parties.
They knocked $60 off the price in the end. And lost my business forever.
"Why? It's not her right to be there. This is my daughter's 4th birthday party, and I want what I paid for-- for her to have the place for her own party, not to combine it with a bunch of strangers."
No, they didn't. I spent half the party corralling the kids in our party to keep them to our "side," and the other half comforting the crying kids. I barely spent a minute with my daughter. It would have been an entirely different party had it been the one I paid for.
It was chaotic. About 35 kids, and the staff wouldn't allow the parents in the gym with the kids because of this chaos-- so I had three crying 3-year-old girls throughout the party because they didn't want to be separated from their moms (and SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN... this was a party, not school! I wanted the moms to be able to mingle and have fun with the kids!).
My childs bff had a party here but after playing and pizza we had cake but after that they didn't play again that made me and them sad
